What's the real difference between Minneapolis and a suburb like Edina?
The honest difference is space and schools versus walkability and grit. Edina gives you bigger lots, top-rated public schools, and the 50th & France district — quieter, more polished, more car-dependent. Minneapolis proper gives you lakes you can walk to, a denser restaurant scene, and far more housing variety, with the usual city tradeoffs on parking and upkeep. Neither is better. It comes down to whether you want a yard and a short drive to everything, or a porch and a short walk. (Plenty of my sellers move one direction, then back, as life shifts.) Tell me how you actually spend a Saturday, and I'll tell you which one fits.
